Ufi VocTech Trust Launches New Ventures Challenge Fund (UK)
Recent business startups in the educational technology sector can apply for an initial investment of £250,000 through the Ufi VocTech Trust’s new Ventures Challenge Fund. This fund aims to support companies that contribute to skill development in an economy moving towards greater automation, digitisation, and decarbonisation. An additional £1 million in follow-up funding may be available. The fund focuses on supporting projects in areas such as green economy skills, digital transformation, reskilling in traditional industries, inclusive development, and lifelong learning. Applicants should submit a detailed pitch deck to the Ufi Ventures team, who aim to respond within five working days.

Cure Parkinson's Trust Grant (UK)
Commercial organisations, appropriately qualified scientists or clinicians based in an accredited university or hospital in any country worldwide can now apply for funding for preclinical and clinical research. Projects should have the potential to advance knowledge that might lead to a cure for Parkinson’s disease. The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is particularly interested in projects that show the potential to delay, slow, stop, reverse or prevent the progression of Parkinson’s disease. Grants of up to £250,000 are available. Applications are considered four times a year; the next deadline for applications is the 5th May 2025.
