Merton Council are looking for passionate, experienced leaders to join the Youth and Play Service
Merton Council are looking for an experienced Youth & Adventure Play Team Manager to lead high-quality youth work and adventure play across their youth centres and adventure playground.
You will lead and support staff teams, champion safeguarding and quality practice, build strong partnerships, and help children and young people develop confidence, relationships and new opportunities.
If you have experience in youth work, adventure play, safeguarding and team leadership (and want to make a lasting difference).

Youth & Adventure Play Team Manager
They are also recruiting two Youth and Play Leads to join our Youth Service team at Phipps Bridge Youth Centre or Pollards Hill Youth Centre. In this permanent, 28-hours-per-week role, you’ll lead engaging junior and senior youth sessions, build positive relationships with young people, and help provide safe, inclusive spaces where they can reach their potential.
You’ll also support outreach, projects and school-holiday programmes, while maintaining high safeguarding and health-and-safety standards.
Salary: ME8, £35,520–£37,134 per year pro rata
Location: Merton, London
Contract: Permanent
This role includes regular evening work, occasional weekends and school-holiday programmes.
