Pride is Community. Pride is Connection.

This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the power of inclusive communities and the brilliant work happening across Merton to support LGBTQ+ people.
At Merton Connected, we believe that everyone should feel safe, valued and supported. Our vision is of a borough where every resident, volunteer and community group can thrive.
From inclusive youth spaces to mental health support and grassroots events, we’re proud to stand alongside organisations that champion LGBTQ+ voices and create safe, welcoming environments for all.

Staying Connected Beyond June
While Pride Month is a key time for visibility and celebration, we know that true inclusion is about showing up all year round. At Merton Connected, we’re committed to creating a workplace culture where diversity is recognised as a strength, not just a statistic.
Some members of our team are part of the LGBTQ+ community, and their lived experiences help shape the way we work. We believe that our staff and volunteers should reflect the diversity of the communities we serve because representation matters. It deepens our understanding, improves our services, and ensures that inclusion isn't just a value; it’s part of our everyday practice.
However you celebrate, we’re proud to stand with you. Happy Pride, Merton!
